YOUR FIRST CONSULTATION – Diagnosis and treatment planning

During your initial consultation at Miko Dental, we take comprehensive steps to understand your dental needs and create a personalized treatment plan. This includes: dental X-Rays and photographs: detailed images of your teeth and jaw. If necessary, a CT scan will provide an in-depth view of your bone quality and the precise location of nerves and sinuses.

All these diagnostic procedures are conveniently conducted on-site at Miko Dental to ensure a thorough and efficient evaluation.

Phase 1: Two Steps in 24 Hours

Step 1 – The Surgical Phase: Implant Insertion

• The procedure is performed under local anesthesia or intravenous sedation.
• Any necessary tooth extractions are done during the same session.
• Implants are inserted into the jawbone. If required, bone grafts are added and the gums are reshaped. The entire insertion process takes about 2 hours per arch (6 implants for the upper jaw and 4 for the lower jaw).
• IMPORTANT: Patients experience absolutely no pain during implant insertion! Most report no discomfort during the procedure and minimal to no pain in the following days.

Step 2 – Placement of Temporary Fixed Teeth

• Temporary fixed teeth are attached, allowing patients to eat and smile confidently throughout their treatment!

Phase 2: Definitive Teeth Insert (5-6 Months After Phase 1)

• Once healing and implant integration are complete, the temporary teeth are replaced with your final, permanent set. These can be crafted from various high-quality materials like BioHPP, Porcelain, or Zirconium.
