What are dental veneers?

Dental facets are a real shield to the outer surface of the tooth, being specifically designed to improve the shape and / or its color. This fits the front surface of the tooth using a special adhesive cement, sealing it against cavities and imperfections due to differences in color, shape or position in relation to other teeth. Thus, the front teeth flaws can be “masked” to perfection using dental facets.

How many types of dental facets exist?

Dental facets can be made of composite ceramics (porcelain) or zirconium. The composite ceramic facets are inferior, but having the advantage of low prices and fast execution term.

Ceramic facets are made of a highly durable porcelain and manage to restore natural tooth translucency with high accuracy, they are smooth and impenetrable, which means that faceted tooth will remain as bright and white as in the first day.
